CSAS Upper School Registration
– Signing Day
Grades 6 - 12
Welcome!
Please complete the entire
registration packet according to the following steps. Steps 1 –
4 are required and should be done, printed, and given to your
student’s advisory/seminar teacher on Registration Signing Day.
1.
1. Complete the Registration Packet - CSAS Upper School Registration Sheet, Magnet Contract, CSAS Magnet Volunteer
Agreement, and Chromebook Contract (for each student)
You will need to complete this
packet which is specific to CSAS Upper School students. This is NOT optional.
2. 2. Complete
online student registration for HCDE
at www. hcde.org. Click on the Registration icon.
Please
review the information below to best determine the appropriate selection. Registration is best completed using Google
Chrome on a desktop computer. You cannot register through the Google app.
Returning Students - If your child attended a Hamilton County school in
2021-22 and will be attending another Hamilton County school in the fall, your
child will enroll as a Returning Student.
· If you are new to
PowerSchool and you do not have a Parent Portal access ID and password or have
forgotten your login info, please contact the school. Lower School parents Grades K-5 email
[email protected] for login info. Upper School parents grades 6-12 email [email protected].

Sign in with your
username and password.
o
Select the
student you wish to re-register along the top
o
Select the
Student Registration Icon on the left side for 2022-2023

Agree to the
terms and conditions
o
Click Begin Forms

When
completing the form list parents/guardians first as emergency contacts.
New Students - Any
student who did not attend a Hamilton County school last year will register as
a new student.
·
You will need to
create an account to continue.
·
The disctrict
code is ZRCD.
·
To enroll in parent portal, you will need the access ID and password for your child (obtained from the
school). If you have more than one child, you will need the access ID and
password for each one in order to attach them to your account. Once you create your account, you will be
able to access all students attached to it with the one login you create.

3. Pay School
Fees
·
Fees may be paid
in person via check made out to CSAS with the student’s name in the memo or
cash placed in an sealed envelope with the student’s name on it. Please give
the payment to your student’s advisory teacher.

Online payments
are accepted from our website www.csask12.hcde.org. Click on the Online Payments icon. You will be directed to a payment
site where you will click on K-12. CSAS is the only option to select. Online
payments will be charged a small service fee.
o
When paying
online you will need to select each desired payment to add to your cart before
checking out.
o
Click Check Out
o
You will see
Assign Student Profile. Click Add Student (you must do this to check out).
o
Under Add Student
Profile fill out your child’s name. ***For Student ID box, you can make up any
number. If you have more than one student, you will need a profile for each
student and you will make up a student ID number for each one.
o
After you create
a Student Profile, you can select the student profile next to the fee
description and proceed to the payment page.
2022-23 Registration Fees (all students):
Ø Magnet Fee $60
Ø Art/Stem Fee $20
Additional fees depending on student’s classes:
Ø Band/Strings Instrument Rental $100 (for the school year)
Ø Chorus $50
Ø High School Art $30

4. Over The Counter Medication Permission form
In
order for our nurses to administer any medication, authorization must be on
file. This form is exclusive to OTC medications. If your student requires
prescription drugs administered during the school day please contact our upper
school nurse, Jenn Lallier at [email protected].

5. Register for School
Age Childcare (optional)* -
Acceptable regular time of drop off begins
at 8:15. Acceptable pick up time time is until 4:15. If you are not able to
drop off or pick up within these timeframes you will need to attain SACC.
The registration form for before-care and
after-care for the 2022-23 school year is available HCDE’s website, www.hcde.org. Search or select SACC or click here. All forms will
need to be printed and brought to the school with the $10 registration fee
attached or paid online. Please see the application for instructions. You may
turn them in to SACC on the student’s first day of before care or after care.
We will also accept them in the office on Signing Day.
*Eligibility: Students are eligible to
attend until completion of the 8th grade. However, children are not eligible to
attend after they become 14 years of
age.

6. Free And Reduced
Lunch application
The
grant that provided free lunch to all students during the last few years has
expired. Families can apply for free/reduced lunch. Applications can be found on HCDE’s website
by clicking on the Nutrition icon.

7.
7. HCS EdConnect
No-cost,
high-speed home internet from EPB is now available to Hamilton County
students and their families!
Any
student receiving free or reduced-cost lunch, attending any school where every
student receives free or reduced-cost lunch or whose family participates in
SNAP or other economic assistance programs is eligible. To find out if you are
eligible you must complete the Free and Reduced Lunch Application referenced
above. More information is available at www.edconnect.org.
8. 8. Bus Transportation
Bus transportation is available for CSAS. You can find
out which bus stop is close to your home or if you need to request a stop at www.hcde.org. Click on the Transportation Link.
